Prices stated by Orange Car Rental include Value Added Tax (VAT/IVA) unless explicitly specified otherwise. The estimated total rental cost is determined based on the details submitted during booking and may vary if additional services, extra hours, missing fuel, traffic violations, damages, or different return locations are incurred. To open the lease agreement, the renter must present: a valid physical credit card with sufficient available limit for the rental and deposit hold, a valid driver's license, and an official government photo ID or valid passport. Upon vehicle handover, the customer must sign the rental agreement and authorize the credit card pre-authorization hold guaranteeing contract fulfillment.

Customers may request additional equipment or services upon pickup, subject to fleet availability and active rates. These include, but are not limited to: supplemental protections, prepaid fuel, infant or child safety seats, surf surfboard roof racks, and additional drivers. All optional services must be expressly confirmed by the customer at contract opening.

Any individual intended as an authorized secondary driver must be physically present at contract signing, be of legal age, and present a valid driver's license alongside an official photo ID. No unregistered person is legally permitted to operate the rental vehicle under any circumstances.

The standard minimum age to rent and operate a vehicle with Orange Car Rental is 21 years old, holding an unexpired driver's license with at least one full year of validity.

Standard rental duration is calculated in 24-hour cycles. The car must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location outlined in the contract. Returning the vehicle beyond the agreed return window without prior written notice may generate additional hourly or daily charges according to published rates.

Promotional rates, discount vouchers, or seasonal campaigns are bound to specific operational conditions. Unless expressly stated, discounts cannot be combined with other offers and remain subject to fleet availability and seasonal restrictions.

All rentals include full coverage insurance providing protection for collision damage, total vehicle theft, third-party liability, and occupant medical expenses, subject to the deductible and exclusion clauses stated in the policy. Protection becomes void if the vehicle is driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or operated by unauthorized drivers.

Delivery and returns occur at the branch confirmed during booking. If a customer requests a drop-off at a different city or office (such as one-way transfers between Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara), authorization depends on logistical availability and requires an applicable relocation fee.

The rented vehicle is strictly restricted to circulation within the territory of the United Mexican States (Mexico). Crossing international land borders is expressly prohibited without previous written authorization from Orange Car Rental management.

The customer must provide a valid physical credit card under their name for a pre-authorization hold (typically between $10,000 and $25,000 MXN depending on car category). The hold is released upon returning the car in the same mechanical, aesthetic, and fuel condition. The timeline for the release to reflect on your account depends exclusively on the issuing bank.

Rental charges can be settled via debit or credit card; however, the security deposit strictly requires a bank-issued credit card. Any exceptional deposit via debit card must be pre-approved by management and entails higher retention amounts.

The renter assumes full liability for vehicle wear or damage caused by sports gear. Surfboards must never be transported inside the passenger cabin; they must be secured on roof racks or in pickup truck beds. Scuba gear, fishing equipment, and coolers must be dry and clean to prevent interior damage, stains, or saltwater/sand deterioration. Excessive dirt or damage will incur deep-cleaning or repair fees.

Pets are allowed when transported inside travel carriers or over protective blankets. If the unit is returned with excessive pet hair, odors, stains, or residues requiring specialized interior detailing, a sanitation fee will be applied.

Orange Car Rental delivers clean, mechanically inspected vehicles with valid registration, active insurance coverage, and agreed fuel levels. The renter agrees to operate the vehicle responsibly, safeguard keys and documentation, adhere to traffic regulations, and cover toll or parking fines incurred during the rental period.

Prohibited activities include: subleasing the vehicle, using it for rideshare applications (Uber, DiDi, etc.), towing trailers, engaging in races or reckless driving, driving through flooded roads or rough terrain unsuitable for the car class, and carrying illegal substances under Mexican law. Any mechanical issue or accident must be reported immediately to our 24/7 emergency dispatch.

The renter remains directly liable for damages, losses, or legal costs arising from gross negligence, driving without a license, operating under chemical impairment, or violating contractual conditions.

In the event of an incident or breakdown, park in a safe spot, avoid private financial settlements with third parties, and immediately reach out to our emergency support and insurance dispatch. The driver must remain on site until the adjuster arrives to complete the official claim statement.

Vehicles must be returned in comparable aesthetic and functional condition, considering normal wear. Fuel must match the level logged at checkout; missing fuel will be billed at the contractual rate plus refueling fee. Excessive interior dirt will incur deep cleaning surcharges.

By completing an online reservation, signing the rental agreement, or receiving vehicle keys, the renter acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions stated herein and in the official rental contract.

In compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, Orange Car Rental, located at Plaza Marina, Local G-13, Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is responsible for processing your data. We retain copies of your official ID, driver's license, and payment pre-authorization data solely to confirm identity, draft the rental contract, secure deposit holds, and prevent fraud. We do not sell or transfer your information to third parties, except upon formal order by competent judicial authorities. Data is stored under strict physical and digital security protocols.

When entering our customer service branches, you acknowledge being recorded by our closed-circuit security surveillance. Footage is gathered exclusively for visitor and staff safety, maintained in strict confidentiality, and periodically purged in accordance with data regulations.
